Classic diner experience. Been coming here since I was a kid. It's clean and the service is always great. Big and extensive menu so everyone has an option to eat something. Their food is good, I got the Woodbury omelette and it was great. Not too heavy but just the right amount of food.
Everything I'd want a diner to be. Open late, fast service, fresh food, no fuss, and friendly. The place has a classic vintage diner aesthetic with a jukebox in the vestibule and neon lighting. Waiter was great. Very clean. Not cheap, but it is a quality diner.
My wife's family is in New York for a wedding. We said let's catch up after work and all meet at a local diner. They chose On Parade diner. I haven't been to this diner in over 30 years! What a nice surprise to sit down with family in a very clean setting. The menu selection was very substantial. 30 years ago I'd order a burger platter with a chocolate milk shake. This time I ordered a patty melt with a Coke and well done grilled onions. I have to report On Parade nailed it! The bread was grilled perfectly, the burger was juicy and the service was excellent. I told my wife we need to come back and try more diner platters like challah French toast!

Hostess who sit you down are warm, welcoming and friendly . The waitstaff are still unhappy, Bread is brought out for dinner. They have a specials menu when you walk in that is NOT given when you sit down but it comes with alot and you'll have leftovers for the week! Desserts are plentiful. Closely located to the LIE, LIRR Jericho, and Bus routes. Accessible access and AMPLE parking. Not as bright as i expected for the enviornment
